To all VPJD applicants: Status of enrolment
Dear VPJD enthusiasts! We were overwhelmed (although not completely surprised) by the speed and amount of so many of you who have already enrolled themselves for the 2010 edition of the Vocal Pop and Jazz days. Thank you also for so many positive reactions! These really encourage us to bring this event to a new high in its already famous history.
Up until early February, the number of registration forms received has partially exceeded our maximum capacity. In fact, the maximum number of sopranos, mezzos, altos and basses has already been reached! Fortunately there is still room for some tenors. So if you happen to know a tenor, who has no plans yet for early august 2010, don’t hesitate to take him to www.vpjd.nl!
Of course, women and basses are not discouraged to submit a registration form - You never know if there will be a place available after all. But these new applicants will be placed on the waiting list.
Next steps: about final admission and the waiting list
In the last half of March 2010, we will inform all who submitted a registration form whether they are admitted to the VPJD 2010 or placed on the waiting list. At that moment, we will send out the invoices to all admitted applicants. Any applicant who does not pay the invoice before the due date of April 30th will lose his or her admittance. The waiting list will then be consulted to give admittance to the next applicant in line.
We hope that you are looking forward to an extraordinary week of singing with inspiring masters of vocal music as much as we do. Should we have to disappoint you because all places are already taken, remember the VPJD will return in 2012!

To enroll
Enrolment will still be open, especially for tenors; for all other participants a waiting list is maintained (see above). All conductors and/or intermediate and advanced (choral) singers are welcome to participate in the Vocal Pop & Jazz Days 2010.
Your application will be held until a well-balanced group can be formed. The artistic management will make its final selection, based on balance, experience and skills of the applicants. Applications will be considered in order of arrival.
